"Beauty And Innocence" Engraving, Sir Edwin Landseer

LANDSEER, SIR EDWIN -ENGLISH (1802-1873)
Landseer is famous for his paintings of horses and dogs. He has done an especially fine job of depicting two Cavaliers in their "moping" pose in one of his portraits. Cavalier owners will recognize this "mope" well.

"Pet of the Duchess" Steel Engraving published by D. Appleton, 1876. Engraved by C.G. Lewis. This is a scan of the black and white antique print that I own and purchased from an antique print site on the web.
